About Deschutes River

Freestone tailwater hybrid — legendary wild redside rainbow fishery and world-famous salmonfly hatch. The lower Deschutes from Pelton-Round Butte to the Columbia is one of the most iconic trout-and-steelhead rivers in the West, with a massive late-May/early-June salmonfly emergence drawing anglers from around the world.
