About French Broad River

The upper French Broad near Rosman in Transylvania County is one of NC's underrated trout destinations — cold headwaters, stocked and wild fish, and beautiful Pisgah National Forest scenery. The river flows through the "Land of Waterfalls" country before warming as it heads toward Asheville.
