Wild and Scenic River through the Gila Wilderness in southwestern New Mexico — one of the only places to legally pursue native Gila Trout. Low-elevation, warm-water freestone with year-round fishing in the canyon stretches near the Cliff Dwellings. Remote, rugged, and lightly pressured.
