About Hot Creek

Hot Creek is a legendary Eastern Sierra spring creek near Mammoth Lakes — a geothermally-influenced stream with dense wild rainbow trout populations in its intensely managed fly fishing section. The crystal-clear water and educated trout make this one of California's most challenging and rewarding fisheries. The Geological Site area is a separate attraction nearby.
