About Kettle Creek
Wild and remote Potter/Clinton County freestone water. Wild brown and native brook trout populations, with Kettle Creek Reservoir providing modest flow stabilization downstream. The upper sections near Cross Fork are the most pristine — quality dry-fly water in May and June, then a strong September fall window when summer flows recover.
Regulations
Class A Wild Trout designation in the upper watershed. Catch-and-Release Fly Fishing Only section — consult current PFBC regs for boundaries. Kettle Creek State Park provides public access. Requires PA fishing license + trout/salmon permit.
