About Kiamichi River

Flowing south out of the Kiamichi Mountains through the Little Dixie region toward Hugo Lake, the Kiamichi River offers relaxed float fishing through genuine Oklahoma wilderness. Largemouth bass work the slower pools and fallen timber; smallmouth appear in the upper reaches where the gradient increases. A true backcountry river with low pressure and big catfish in the deeper holes.
