About Lamoille River

A major Lake Champlain drainage river through northern Vermont. Browns and rainbows year-round, with lake-run rainbows pushing upstream in fall β€” some of Vermont's best migratory trout action without the Pacific Northwest hype. The Johnson-to-Morrisville corridor is the classic stretch; lower reaches near Jeffersonville hold the largest fish.
