About Little River Canyon
Flowing entirely atop Lookout Mountain, Little River is one of the few mountain rivers in the eastern US that runs along a plateau summit. Its canyon section drops through National Preserve land with clear, fast water over sandstone ledges — excellent smallmouth habitat with very light pressure.
