About Metolius River
Rare spring creek emerging full-size from the Cascades — gin-clear, cold, technically demanding. The Metolius pours out of the ground at Camp Sherman near Black Butte and runs cold and constant year-round. Bull trout present alongside rainbows and browns; selective fish reward precise drifts and small flies.
