About Missisquoi River

Far northern Vermont β€” headwaters near the Quebec border, draining into Lake Champlain at Swanton. Upper reaches in the North Troy area hold some of Vermont's best wild brook trout water with notably less angling pressure than southern VT rivers. Cold water carries fish into September. Worth the drive for genuine remote trout country.
