About San Miguel River

Flows from Telluride through some of the most beautiful canyon country in Colorado. Upper sections near Telluride (8,750 ft) fish best June–October. Canyon sections below Norwood are warmer — check water temps in late summer before fishing. Stunning scenery throughout, far less pressure than the famous tailwaters.
