About Smith River

A small freestone in Grafton County. Stocked by NH F&G; a good early-season option when bigger rivers are running high. The lower river near Bristol confluence with the Newfound offers additional access. Less pressure than the White Mountains rivers — solid regional coverage water, not a destination fishery.
