About Swift River

Runs along the Kancamagus Highway through Albany — one of the most accessible and popular trout streams in NH. Mix of stocked browns with some holdover fish; rocky pocket water and runs. High during snowmelt; plan for June or early July. Campgrounds along the Kanc make this an easy weekend river.
