About West Walker River
The West Walker River is a high-gradient freestone stream in the Eastern Sierra, flowing through a steep canyon before merging with the East Walker near Coleville. Wild rainbow trout inhabit the upper canyon reaches, with better fishing in early season before summer low water. A scenic alternative to the nearby tailwaters.
